My wife Wendy thought I needed mental help but I picked the shape created by a frosted design on a shop window to reflect a wide street scene behind me. I liked the mirror imaged roadside poster that said "FUTURE". Symbolism is, like beauty, in the eye of the beholder. I shut the lens right down to f22 (as I wanted depth of focus and light streams from the passing cars) and guessed the exposure time in bulb. Wendy saw neither beauty nor symbolism.
